The approach Lachlan takes his students through has been crafted over 17 years of study with teachers such as Bill Bachman, Joe Bergamini, Dave Elitch, John Ferraro, Daniel Glass, Ari Hoenig, Tom Hurst, Michael Iveson, Nate Morton, Kevin Murphy, Adam Nussbaum, Jim Piesse, John Riley, Gordon Rytmeister, Ben Sesar, Johnny Vidacovich, and Chad Wakerman.  

Lachlan provides an in-depth knowledge of technique, timekeeping, playing multiple genres, and a holistic approach to learning. Incorporating time management skills, maximising efficiency, and solid practice techniques into the lessons, you will find studying the drums easy and enjoyable. 

Private Lessons

Lachlan currently has available spaces for study at his Carlingford teaching location. 

To suit time needs and availabilities of his students, Lachlan offers 30 minute, 45 minute, and 1 hour lessons.

Online Lessons

Online lessons are a new addition to Lachlan's teaching practice. If you want to receive a lesson via Zoom, all you need is a good internet connection and a webcam. This learning method is best if you wish to get a lesson with Lachlan but don't live in Sydney.

Lachlan is currently the drum teacher at the following schools: Barker College, Epping Boys High School, Oakhill Drive Public School, and Rouse Hill Anglican College.
